Family owned Grandma's Place Early Learning Centers are committed to valuing individual families and their children’s unique needs and learning styles by providing loving, developmentally appropriate care and education in a positive, professional environment.
Our centers offer The Creative Curriculum. This program model allows your child to choose and study areas that (s)he is interested in. Using guided free choice, teachers use these opportunities to work on skills. In this way we are able to teach your child while (s)he is playing in areas that spark interest.
Grandma’s Place offers interest centers like math and science, art, quiet reading, writing, table toys and imagination play. These centers are the basis for all learning to follow in the future. On a daily basis your child’s teacher will make these different interest areas available to your child so that your child can develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
In addition to free choice, we offer a circle time each day. We also present small group activities to develop group skills and work on peer relationships.Grandma's Place Early Learning Center's program is based on the philosophy that families are the primary and most important providers of care and nurturing for young children. We believe parents and teachers are partners in children's care, and education. We respect families' values and their right to make decisions for their children.
We value the relationship of mutual trust with the families we serve. To best serve the needs of families in our community, Grandma's Place offers flexible care for children - infant through 12 years - in a way that best accommodates the needs of the family. Grandma's Place recognizes and respects the unique potential of each child. As child care professionals we strive to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment. We foster children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development by using developmentally appropriate practices. We work to build each child's self-esteem and dignity by respecting their contributions to our community.
